Not because I don't like VP, quite the opposite and I have it since VP9 in July 2009. I'm trying out Davinci Resolve Studio at present partly because apparently it offers syncing. One which is of particular interest to m,e in addition to syncing is the 4k proxy file facility. I have not tested the Happy Otter scripts. That can be important if you have more than one audio source playing at the same time in your final product because the audio can sound nasty if drift is not corrected even if a few frames out of true sync. Pluraleyes can adapt for audio drift automatically and provide both the non-drift and the drifted versions. I routinely do multicam with anything from two to four or more cams and a similar number of standalone audio devices which may run for well over an hour and none of which offer time codes. I didn't even realise there is a syncing feature in VP17! I've had Pluraleyes since June 2013 and its always worked great for me - and very quick - so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it even though its now rather pricey. IMPORTANT!
